Privacy Policy

What we collect

• •Account information: your email address, your name if you give one, and your sign-in method.
• •Career materials you submit: your resume, LinkedIn profile content, and any other text or files you upload or paste.
• •Assessment inputs: the target roles you select and any context you add about location, industry, or seniority.
• •Generated output: your assessment, scores, role diagnostics, positioning guidance, rewritten LinkedIn content, and rewritten resumes.
• •Purchase records: what you bought, the amount, the date, and the payment reference from our payment processor.
• •Service records: limited operational logs we use to run the service, find faults, and prevent abuse.

Payment information

Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page. MyRoleBuilder does not receive or store your full card number.

We keep the payment reference, the amount, the date, and the purchase so we can support refunds, disputes, and accounting.

Why we use your information

• •To operate your account and keep your reports available to you.
• •To produce your assessment and, for the Pro Resume Upgrade, your rewritten resume.
• •To answer your support requests.
• •To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse of the service.
• •To process payments and keep the accounting records we need.

Automated processing

Producing your assessment and rewritten materials involves automated language-model processing on our servers. Your submitted material is sent for that processing only as part of producing your own output, and only from our server side, never from your browser.

Some of that processing runs in the background so a long request is not lost if it takes several minutes. Our server submits the work as a background request, asks the provider not to store the request or result in its own retrievable history, and relies only on the provider's temporary storage of the in-progress response so our server can collect the finished result. Alongside that we keep a private internal reference to the work in progress. Your submitted material and your finished report are stored in your account in the normal way described in this policy. We cannot promise how long a provider keeps operational records of processing it performs.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your career materials to advertise to you.

Who can see your material

Inside the application, your materials, assessments, and rewritten content are limited to your signed-in account. Another customer cannot open them.

Our own access is limited to people and service processes that need it to run the service, fix faults, handle payments, or answer your support request.

We do not claim any compliance certification. We describe what the product actually does rather than making security or regulatory claims we cannot prove.

How long we keep it

Your career materials, assessments, and generated outputs are kept while your account exists, so you can return to a report without buying another assessment. They are removed when you request account deletion.

Payment and accounting records may be kept after deletion where that is necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud, refund, or dispute purposes. Those records hold purchase details, not your career documents.

Deletion

You can request account and data deletion from the Privacy and account section inside your account. The request removes your uploaded materials, assessments, reports, and rewritten materials, and clears the name and email held on your profile.

Unused analysis access is revoked at the same time, and no new assessment can be started on an account with a deletion request on file.

Age

MyRoleBuilder is built for adults looking for work. It is not intended for children. We do not operate a separate service for minors.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. Questions about your information, or a deletion request you cannot complete yourself, can be sent through the Support page or by email to support@myrolebuilder.com.
